Meijer is seeking a dependable CDL-A Local Driver to support our Transportation & Logistics operations and help keep our shelves stocked for the communities we serve. As a local driver, you will operate a Class A commercial vehicle to transport products safely and efficiently between Meijer distribution centers, stores, and partner locations within the region, returning home daily. You will follow established routes and schedules, perform thorough pre- and post-trip inspections, and strictly adhere to all DOT, state, and federal regulations, as well as Meijer’s safety and operational standards. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe loading, securing, and unloading of freight, working collaboratively with warehouse and store teams to ensure accurate deliveries and minimize product damage. You will maintain accurate electronic logs and documentation, communicate clearly with dispatch and store personnel regarding delivery status, delays, or issues, and represent Meijer professionally at every stop. Your attention to detail and commitment to safe driving will help support Meijer’s reputation for reliability and excellent customer service.
