Company Overview Groundwork Milwaukee is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting environmental sustainability and community revitalization. Our mission is to empower individuals, strengthen neighborhoods, and improve local ecosystems through innovative green initiatives. We’re looking for enthusiastic young individuals to join our Green Team this summer as part of Employ Milwaukee's Earn and Learn Program. Key Responsibilities lead outdoor projects that promote environmental sustainability and community beautification. Participate in educational seminars on green technologies and environmental advocacy. Engage with community members to promote eco-friendly practices and initiatives. Collaborate with team members to complete projects and build leadership skills. Gain hands-on experience and develop relationships with peers in a supportive work environment. Required Skills and Qualifications Must be a young person residing in Milwaukee, WI (ages 14 - 24). Strong interest in outdoor work and environmental issues. Willingness to commit to a 7 - 8 week summer internship program. Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with community members.
