Major Responsibilities Tutor students in our online classroom in a dynamic and supportive manner Customize lesson plans to meet students’ needs and keep them engaged in material. Familiarize yourself with a student’s school curriculum Model professionalism and accountability at all times by showing up to tutoring sessions on time, replying to students and parents in a timely manner, and holding students accountable for assignments. Create an open, safe, and positive learning environment. Regularly documenting student progress and communicating this progress with student and parents. Education, Background, Experience & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress High school level expertise in academic subject matter evident through educational background or work-related experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills Availability after school and/or weekends. Summer daytime availability a plus. Applicants must pass a qualifying exam Access to a reliable internet connection and computer in a reliably quiet location Experience with one-on-one tutoring preferred. Experience teaching online preferred.
