Loader Operator
ABOUT THE ROLE \n
Amrize, a leading supplier of quality, construction building materials in the United States, has immediate openings for a Loader Operator to support operations at our Ready Mix plant locations in Stephens City, VA and Front Royal, VA. This is a hybrid role requiring work across both sites based on operational needs. The primary responsibility of the Loader Operator is to safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment to load, move, and stockpile rock and other materials in support of quarry and plant operations.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH \n
\n - Operate front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile materials
\n - Load raw materials into haul trucks, hoppers, or crushers
\n - Inspect equipment daily and report mechanical issues
\n - Maintain safe working distances around trucks and personnel
\n - Manage material flow to prevent production delays
\n - Keep work areas clean and free of debris
\n - Follow site safety rules and MSHA regulations
\n - Communicate with supervisors and other equipment operators
\n - Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR \n
\n - Education: High school diploma or equivalent
\n - Required Work Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience operating front-end loaders or similar heavy equipment.
\n - Prior experience working in a ready mix, quarry, asphalt, or construction materials environment is highly desirable
\n - Demonstrated ability to safely handle and transport bulk materials such as sand, gravel, and stone
\n - Experience performing routine equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance
\n - Familiarity with site safety practices, OSHA standards, and hazard awareness
\n - Experience working in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environment in varying weather conditions
\n - Ability to coordinate with plant operators, truck drivers, and team members to maintain workflow
\n - Proven track record of reliability, attention to detail, and safe equipment operation
\n

Additional Requirements: \n
\n - Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
