HiFyve is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic in the beverage manufacturing industry!

Shift: 5:45 PM – 6:00 AM, rotating 223 schedule

Pay: $35 – $50 an hour

Location: Pittsfield, MA

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on production machinery, including fillers, packaging equipment, cappers, labelers, blow mold machinery, and palletizers
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to ensure bottling lines operate efficiently
• Operate all production machinery according to specifications and standard operating procedures
• Lead teams in equipment changeovers and preventative maintenance processes
• Conduct basic cleaning and upkeep of machinery
• Assist in training new employees on machinery operations and maintenance procedures
• Carry a radio and tool bag to remain accessible and prepared during shifts
• Ensure high product quality through routine inspections and adherence to GMP regulations
• Report emergencies, injuries, and production incidents immediately to the shift supervisor
• Follow all safety procedures, including wearing required PPE (safety boots, hairnets, beard nets, earplugs, and safety glasses)
• Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 3 years of industrial maintenance experience preferred
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills required
• Computer experience required
• Forklift certification, electrical, and programming experience are a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
• Understanding of electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, manuals, and documents
• Proficiency with standard maintenance tools and safe work practices
• Expertise in preventative maintenance to identify and resolve equipment issues
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to work a flexible schedule
