Job Description

Position Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd shift 3pm-11pm Salary: $22.29 - $27.57/hourly Job Summary Performs semi-routine maintenance duties including the troubleshooting, repair, and modification of electrical and mechanical industrial equipment. This role is responsible for ensuring production continuity through diligent preventative maintenance and rapid response to equipment malfunctions. Duties & Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting & Repair: Analyze malfunctions and repair or rebuild mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and comprehend machine drawings and technical manuals to execute precise repairs.
• Facilities Maintenance: Maintain critical plant physical systems, including boilers, compressors, and chillers.
• Preventative Maintenance (PM): Execute scheduled PM duties, such as greasing and component replacement, to extend equipment life.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to provide recommendations for equipment or process modifications.

Technical Requirements & Skills

• Electrical Proficiency: Knowledge of 10V to 480V AC/DC systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Mechanical Aptitude: Demonstrated ability to repair, rebuild, and maintain complex industrial machinery.
• Hydraulics & Pneumatics: Maintaining and repairing fluid power systems.
• Welding & Fabrication: Ability to perform welding and metal fabrication for equipment repair or modification.
• Diagnostic Skills: Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a high-pressure environment.
• Tool Operation: Mastery of a variety of industrial hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Time Management: Ability to prioritize urgent repairs while staying on track with PM schedules.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for reporting issues and collaborating with engineering.
• Safety Awareness: Deep understanding of industrial safety standards and risk mitigation.
• Physical Capability: Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in confined or physically demanding positions.
