Overview Task Associate (TA) at Ulta Beauty is a front‑line role focused on delivering operational excellence to support sales drivers and create an exceptional guest experience. The TA keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes tasks as assigned while supporting the Merchandise Manager and Operations Manager through performance, people, and process responsibilities. General Summary & Scope The TA is responsible for operational excellence in support of sales drivers, ensuring product availability, maintaining store cleanliness, and following procedures to meet metrics and compliance standards. Attention to detail and the ability to follow processes are essential. Principal Duties & Responsibilities Performance Contribute to meeting or exceeding store retail goals by completing tasks and ensuring product availability. Meet compliance and execution goals related to task dashboards and operational processes, including shipments, replenishment, merchandise sets, and inventory counts. Maintain regular attendance. People Create an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests. Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to support professional development and sales performance. Process Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards. Adhere to the dress code. Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s technology. Maintain assigned work areas, ensuring testers are available and displays are replenished, signed, and faced. Maintain store cleanliness, including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area. Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service. Complete other operational tasks as directed. Job Qualifications Education High school diploma preferred. Experience One year of relevant work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. Skills Proficient with basic technology (e.g., POS system and Apple devices). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem‑solving skills. Special Position Requirements Work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays. Working Conditions Continuous mobility throughout the store. Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting. Lifting, carrying, and moving up to 25 lbs. Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
