Tax Accountant

A well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join its growing team. This role offers a strong compensation package, long-term career growth, and a collaborative firm culture.

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary range: $90,000$120,000 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and/or trusts
• Provide tax planning, research, and consulting services to clients
• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, building strong advisory relationships
• Review workpapers and returns to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Stay current on tax law changes and advise clients accordingly

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA or EA preferred
• 5+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Prior experience reviewing returns and managing engagements
• Strong technical tax knowledge
• Excellent communication and client service abilities
