We are looking for a skilled Trust & Estate Attorney to join our team in Albany. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional legal services in estate planning and probate matters. Responsibilities:
• Conduct consultations with clients to assess their estate planning and probate needs.
• Draft and execute estate planning documents with precision and adherence to legal standards.
• Supervise paralegal staff to ensure efficient workflow and quality output.
• Represent clients during court appearances related to probate and estate matters.
• Maintain meticulous organizational practices to manage case files and deadlines effectively.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
• Utilize Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to prepare documents and manage schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legal and ethical standards.
• Provide guidance on complex estate and probate issues to clients.
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to support team succes
• Active bar admission in the state of New York.
• Notary public certification is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-up skills.
• Detail-oriented approach with the ability to handle sensitive matters discreetly.
• 2-5 years of experience in estate planning, probate, or related legal practice.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
