We're seeking a Shipping Associate for a premier industrial manufacturer in the Swedesboro NJ area.

Shift/Pay

7:30AM - 3:30PM Monday-Friday

$19.50 pay increases once direct

Job Description

The Warehouse Shipper is responsible for efficiently picking orders and preparing them for the work floor. This role involves navigating racking systems to select parts necessary for assembly, as well as loading and unloading shipments.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders and stage them for the work floor.
• Navigate racking systems to select parts for assembly.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently.
• Fulfill orders accurately and maintain inventory levels.
• Utilize basic computer skills for order processing.

Skills

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience in pulling parts and order fulfillment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift between 30lbs and 50lbs.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with inventory management.
• Familiarity with forklift operations and RF scanners.
• Ability to work in a production or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to pull items from shelves above shoulder height.

Work Environment

The role is based in the Bridgeport Assembly plant and involves working within a warehouse environment with exposure to chemicals, oils, greases, solvents, and cleaners. Continuous presence in the normal work area is required, except during formal break times. The position requires regular attendance, punctuality, and the ability to work overtime, including weekends. OSHA-approved personal protective equipment must be worn as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Swedesboro, NJ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
