Maintenance Technician (Journeyman Required) – $61,000–$70,000 – Greenfield, IN

We are conducting a confidential search for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a valid Journeyman’s card to support a manufacturing operation in Greenfield, Indiana. This role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic presses, production machinery, and electrical systems in a fast-paced industrial environment.
This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
Position Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic presses
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment issues in a manufacturing environment
• Dismantle equipment to replace or repair defective components
• Inspect and adjust functional parts and control instruments
• Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery
• Repair motors, conveyors, pneumatic tools, and related equipment
• Operate lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools
• Perform basic PLC troubleshooting
• Arc weld as needed for repairs and fabrication
• Read and interpret assembly drawings and technical manuals
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with plant safety standards
• Initiate purchase orders for parts as required
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an assembly or manufacturing environment
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic presses
• Valid Journeyman’s card in an approved trade (required)
• Valid Driver’s License
• Basic electrical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to arc weld and operate lathes and mills
• Ability to read and understand assembly drawings
• Basic PLC troubleshooting capability
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 100 lbs occasionally
• Availability for overtime

• Experience in electrical/electronic manufacturing environments
