POSITION SUMMARY:Coordinate with academic leadership to interact with prospective students for all schools, particularly STGL; execute key academic initiatives in the STGL and provide concrete value to the entire organization; support STGL academic initiatives and provide research and special initiatives support to the Dean. This is a 9-month Academic GA position reserved for graduate students of BJU.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Supporting faculty academic loads
• Academic Content Tours for High School students
• Kerux– developing a highly desirable student preaching brand
• Strategic student identification
• Rooted & Grounded—coaching, training, mentoring, planning, marketing, supporting, background checking
• Teach Them Diligently—coaching, training, mentoring, planning, supporting
• Other logistics and tasks as needed

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Passionate about the mission of BJU
• Ability to multitask, manage projects and organize responsibilities
• Effect oral and written communicator
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
• Displays initiative, self-motivation and has a strong work ethic
• Strong administrative skills
• Theological inclination and ability
• Experience organizing, planning, staffing, and marketing events

COMPUTER SKILLS:

• Microsoft Excel
• Microsoft PowerPoint
• Microsoft Word
