Speech Language Pathologist / SLP

Pay: Travel Contract

• $2,258.00 Gross Weekly
• $21.00 per hour taxed
• $1,547.00 weekly tax-free stipends for housing, meals, and incidentals per diem
• $500.00 travel allowance ($250 to assignment / $250 from assignment for qualified travelers)

Location: Southern California; Onsite – School Setting
Multiple Locations Available

Position Summary

RCM Healthcare is seeking Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for school districts throughout Southern California. In this role, you will provide speech and language services to students within a school-based setting while supporting communication development, academic success, and individualized student goals. You will collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality therapeutic services in accordance with educational and clinical standards. This is an excellent opportunity for SLPs seeking a rewarding school-based assignment with weekends and holidays off.

Responsibilities

Schedule / Shift

• Shift details: In-person school schedule, Monday–Friday
• Weekends and holidays off
• Hours per week: Approximately 35–40 hours per week
• Contract Dates: 8/12/2026 – 6/4/2027

Key Duties

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Conduct evaluations, assessments, and progress documentation in compliance with school district and state requirements
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with educational and regulatory standards

Requirements

Education

• Required: Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology

Licenses & Certifications

• Required: Active California Speech Language Pathologist license or willingness to obtain licensure

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of school-based experience required

Skills

• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary educational teams
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced school environments
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
